Stray Cow Shelter (Goshala)

                                            Save a Cow

Our Foundation is supporting Shreeji Gaushala (Cown barn), managed by Govind Seva Trust (Registration No.- MAH 2019 GBBSD/978/2109 Mumbai) in a remote village in Palghar district in Maharashtra, 75 kms. north of Mumbai.

This group has been very instrumental in since early 2019 to protect the stray cows, given them shelter and nurture them. They had close to 25 cows and calves at one time, but due to lack of support – no food & shelter and cyclone in nearby area every year, only 15 are left right now.

These animals are never sold to slaughter houses or abandoned even when they become old.

They are maintained till end of their lives very happily. At the same time, we are trying to give shelter to rescued cow’s from butcher houses.

Bankey Bihari Foundation is supporting their cause and looking for your support.
